Memorial Day Run: Boys Town Run Raises Money for Deaf Children


Memorial Day celebrations meant a little something extra for children at the Boys Town in Omana. According to WOWT on Monday, May 27 the Memorial Day Run took place to help fund benefit programs and services for deaf and hard of hearing children at the Boys Town National Research Hospital.

There were walkers and runners that participated in the Memorial Day run sponsored by Boys Town. Activities consisted of music and entertainment, clowns, face painters, karate for children, gymnastics, giveaways and more.

The Performance Automotive Group also participated by accepting donations for gently worn shoes in order to donate them to people in need. Those that donated shoes were entered into a drawing to win a car detailing package.
